City of Isleton

LOCAL ROAD
SAFETY PLAN

Project Overview

The City of Isleton is developing a comprehensive Local Road Safety Plan (LRSP). The LRSP aims to help the City to enhance traffic safety for all modes of transportation (driving, walking, bicycling, and riding transit) and for all ages and abilities.

The overarching goal is to develop a successful LRSP by utilizing the historic traffic collision database to create a decision-making process to address traffic safety in Isleton. It relies on a partnership with stakeholders and public outreach using the four "E's of traffic safety: Engineering, Enforcement, Education, and Emergency Medical Services.
